“Double-champ status”- Alexander Volkanovski reveals his plans after beating Max Holloway
UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski has shared his plans to move up to lightweight after beating Max Holloway at UFC 276. Alexander has revealed his desire to win the lightweight title as well and earn the status of double-champ. If alexander fulfills his desire, he will be the second person after Conor McGregor to hold the two belts at the same time.
Alexander dominated The Korean Zombie earlier this year at UFC 273 and has now plans to improve his legacy as a UFC fighter. Alexander talked about his plans during the press conference and it seems he wants to end his rivalry with Max Holloway and then move to 155. Charles Oliveira is currently the number one contender for the lightweight title and he will face an opponent for the lightweight title in the future. It would be exciting to see how Alexander performs in the lightweight division. Alexander started his MMA career as a middleweight and his plans to move to lightweight might get him some shocking results in the future.
