Alexander Volkanovski got a special message from a tech billionaire before UFC 294. It was from Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg. Volkanovski and his teammate, Israel Adesanya, have trained with Zuckerberg. It was when the rumors of Zuckerberg fighting Elon Musk were in the news. Interestingly, Zuckerberg has competed in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Mark Zuckerberg recently had words for Volkanovski, preluding his fight against Islam Makhachev at UFC 294. This is what Zuckerberg posted on his Instagram story, which Volkanovski screenshotted for his Instagram story.

Pictures of a ripped Zuckerberg and even more ripped Adesanya and Volkanovski circulated on the internet. Moreover, there were also pictures of the three in a yacht. Adesanya even posted on YouTube about the training session. So Zuckerberg’s message comes as no surprise. Interestingly, Alexander Volkanovski, during his interview with Nina-Marie Daniele, was shown a video of Zuckerberg giving best wishes for “The Great.” Volkanovski most recently headlined UFC 290 pay-per-view during the International Fight Week.

Alexander Volkanovski will be fighting Islam Makhachev at UFC 294 for the lightweight title, which is a rematch of UFC 284. At UFC 284, Volkanovski came close to becoming a double champion. Charles Oliveira was the original opponent of Makhachev. Volkanovski came to the fray after Oliveira suffered a gnarly cut. Currently, Volkanovski and Makhachev are ranked 2 and 3 in the pound-for-pound rankings of the UFC. Since his UFC 284 fight, Volkanovski garnered a lot of attention. This resulted in him headlining the UFC 290 pay-per-view against Yair Rodriguez.

Nina Marie Daniele surprised Alexander Volkanovski with a message from Mark Zuckerberg

Nina-Marie Daniele recently interviewed Alexander Volkanovski for her YouTube channel, Nina Drama. This was after her controversial interview with Khamzat Chimaev. In the Volkanovski interview, she surprised “The Great” with a video message from a familiar friend. She showed a video message from Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

Volkanovski appreciated the virtual message from Zuckerberg. Moreover, he mentioned that they keep in touch and even funnily insinuated that Daniele used Volkanovski to interact with Zuckerberg. Furthermore, when asked to rate Khamzat Chimaev on a scale of 1 to 10, Volk answered that Chimaev is very good and is a 9.
