“What if it is Islam Makhachev?” Alexander Volkanovski’s daughter HILARIOUSLY reminds dad about getting head kick KO’d

In February 2023, Alexander Volkanovski and Islam Makhachev faced off at UFC 284. Despite posing a tough challenge for the lightweight champion, ‘The Great’ lost on the judges’ scorecards. Later, Volkanovski faced Makhachev at UFC 294 on short notice. But the Dagestani brutally knocked the 35-year-old via head kick in the very first round. Now, Volkanovski disclosed in a recent video that his daughter made fun of him for his defeats against Makhachev.

In a video on YouTube, Alexander Volkanovski shared a hilarious instance of his daughter mocking him. He began by giving context that his daughter was scared and asked what if someone broke into their house. While ‘The Great’ assured his daughter nothing would happen, she continued to play scared. As such, Volk affirmed he was a world champion and she had nothing to worry about. But, she trolled Volkanovski by asking ‘What if it’s Islam Makhachev’. Here is how ‘The Great narrated the story:

'I'm scared'. What're you scared about? 'What if someone breaks in?' I'm like Airlie, your door's open, I'm right there. No one's going to break in...'What if they break in this window?' I'm like Airlie, It's alright, I'm right here, and I'm a world champion. Don't worry, I'll sort it out. She goes: 'What if it's Islam Makhachev?'

After narrating the hilarious incident, Volkanovski and his team started laughing. ‘The Great’ even revealed he laughed at it when his daughter brought up Islam Makhachev. Further, he disclosed his wife Emma Volkanovski too heard it and had a good laugh. Although he enjoyed the troll, he was deeply saddened by the KO loss.

Alexander Volkanovksi is now back in his original weight class to defend his 145lbs title. He is facing the undefeated, Ilia Topuria at UFC 298. With numerous heated exchanges and trolls, this fight has many eyes on it. As such, this anticipated bout goes down this weekend at UFC 298 at the Honda Center in California.

Alexander Volkanovski wants to embarrass Ilia Topuria at UFC 298

Ilia Topuria was brimming with confidence and ran his mouth about Alexander Volkanovski. He outright dismissed the stature of ‘The Great’ and made a mockery of him. Not to mention, he already believes he is the featherweight champion and even changed his Instagram bio to ‘Featherweight champion’. Now, Volkanovski sent a fitting reply to ‘El Matador’ and promised to embarrass him at UFC 298.

In his interview with ESPN MMA, Alexander Volkanovski disclosed his goal for his fight with Ilia Topuria was more than winning. As such, he expressed he wanted ‘El Matador’ to feel embarrassed and feel bad for the words he said during the build-up. Here is what he said:

My goal for this one isn't just winning, I want to embarrass this bloke (Ilia Topuria). I want him to realize that there's levels...I'm just going to teaching him a lesson. He'll be embarrassed. He'll be eating his own words.

However, Alexander Volkanovski has a tough challenge ahead of him since Ilia Topuria has never tasted defeat. Also, circumstances like ‘The Great’ coming off a brutal KO loss and being the older fighter didn’t help him with the outlook. But, he vowed to put it all to rest on fight night. As such, he was confident in handing Topuria his first-ever loss. This fight headlines UFC 298 this weekend at the Honda Center, in California.
