Kamaru Usman is currently the #1 pound-for-pound fighter in the world and rightly so. The Nigerian Nightmare has run through an entire division of elite fighters at 170 pounds and doesn’t look like he’s stopping any time soon. Usman recently put his rivalry against superstar Jorge Masvidal to rest after his fight at UFC 261. Usman gave the fans one of the most satisfying knockouts in the second round when he put Masvidal to sleep.

However, Jorge still doesn’t seem to give enough props to the champion after his incredible display of striking. Ali Abdelaziz, the manager of the welterweight champ has come to his defense and said that Usman has been the best striker and wrestler in the entire UFC roster.

Jorge was on a podcast hosted by Logan Paul where he said, “On the feet, he’s nothing special. He might have got me, but he’s nothing special on the feet. He’s not like a legit striker on the feet yet.”

In a recent tweet, Abdelaziz wrote, “I believe Kamaru is the best striker and the best wrestlers in the UFC, and if they fight 10 times he will beat him 10 times. I always say it, there is elite fighters and there is good fighters, there is levels to this.”

Usman is currently 20-1-0 in his professional MMA career. The fighter has never been defeated inside the UFC octagon and has the longest winning streak in the welterweight division actively. Kamaru is edging closer to the GOAT status as he continues to dominate his opponents. Usman is coming off a win against Colby Covington at UFC 268 to settle their rivalry.
