“He will stop at nothing to win” – Aljamain Sterling claims TJ Dillashaw consumes THIS steroid to enhance his stamina

Aljamain Sterling x TJ Dillashaw
Aljamain Sterling opens up about his thoughts on the upcoming title fight against TJ Dillashaw at UFC 280. In a recent interview with MMA SiriusXM, Sterling mentioned that Dillashaw is a tough opponent who is going to do anything in order to win the fight. The champion criticized Dillashaw’s past record of using steroids and increasing his stamina levels during the fight against Henry Cejudo.
Sterling said, “I see a tough competitor who’s literally willing to bend the rules and stop at nothing to win. Which We all seen that he got popped for what he got popped for umm, which is EPO. Which is why he doesn’t get tired. He never came clean, he got caught. There is a difference.”
Sterling also continued by explaining that the fight is going to be challenging and he hopes to fight the best version of TJ Dillashaw at UFC 280.
“I think he’s a tough dude, a tough competitor. I think it’s gonna be a great competitive fight,” said Sterling. ” He’s gonna be there to win the entire time. I’m visioning that I’m fighting the best TJ ‘Pillashaw’ that there is. I really do think I have the edge in every category and that’s why we fight cause someone has to be right, someone has to be wrong.” said Sterling to MMA SiriusXM.
Sterling was previously made fun of for being the Bantamweight champion however, his title defense against Petr Yan gave him much-deserved respect from the fans. On the contrary, Dillashaw got a lot of criticism for his steroid use a few years back.
A look into TJ Dillashaw using banned substances and getting suspended

In 2018, TJ Dillashaw was at the height of his professional career and had recovered his Bantamweight title after losing it to Dominick Cruz. After winning the title back again, Dillashaw also defended it successfully against Cody Garbrandt at UFC 277. In 2019, Dillashaw made his flyweight debut against Henry Cejudo in order to become a double champion. However, that didn’t go as per planned and Triple C won the fight via TKO.
To make things worse, Dillashaw was caught using human erythropoietin (rHuEPO) aka EPO which is a banned substance. This resulted in the fighter getting stripped of his title and also getting a two-year suspension from fighting.
Dillashaw regretted the use of EPO and talked about his mental health after being tested positive.

“Back then, it was hard to forgive yourself, right? But I think, with how open I was about it, it was almost like doing my own therapy. With me coming out [and] talking about it, admitting to it, just getting all the dirt out so that nothing was weighing me down, it was almost like going and talking to a therapist. Just kind of getting past it and owning up to it all kinda really let me forgive myself, I guess…and just own up to my mistakes and get past them,” said T.J. Dillashaw.
In 2021, Dillashaw made his return against Cory Sandhagen and won the fight via split decision. Now after a year, he will be fighting for the championship and the fans are excited about it.
