Aljamain Sterling recently got invited to JRE and the champion has a great experience there. The episode was released recently and it has attracted a lot of positive remarks. It gave Sterling a great opportunity to say his heart out about everything that happened in the span of one year in his professional life.
Sterling was mistreated by the fight community a lot for what had happened at UFC UFC 259 against Petr Yan. People started clowning him and called him a fake champion. The ‘ Funkmaster’ took all the criticism like a true champion and proved them all wrong inside the octagon. During the rematch, Aljamain Sterling dominated the Russian with his wrestling and won the fight via split decision. It was a huge upset as nobody expected Sterling to come up with something like that and beat the fan favourite. During the show, Sterling opened up about his experience in dealing all that for a year. He said :
“After all that s* that you had to take from people for so long. How many months was it? Thirteen months of people talking s*. That’s a long time, but how sweet must it have been when they raised your hand and you got the W? And still! That was a weird split decision. It was a very good fight, but you definitely won the fight.”

After shooting the podcast and getting the opportunity to work with Rogan, Aljamain Sterling was impressed and posted about it on his social media.
Aljamain Sterling took the Twitter and commended Rogan for his incredible work ethic and hard work. The fighter claimed that after doing the show he felt more motivated and positive. The fighter also gave a sneak about something special coming from the fans. He wrote :

Rogan has established himself as a very respectful individual in the world of combat sports. The man is well known for his strong opinions and flexible thinking. Rogan has invited many celebrities and MMA fighters to his show and most of them have shared good things about the experience. The environment Rogan creates while talking to his guests makes a lot of difference which is different from the current mainstream media.
