The Bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling is set to defend his belt against the former champion TJ Dillashaw. After a USADA suspension back in 2019 the former champion Killashaw returned to the octagon picking up a win against top prospect Cory Sandhagen. Dillashaw is going to face the Funk Master for the 135lbs title. Dillashaw is looking to make history and capture the title again.
The Funk Master(21-3) is on a 7-fight win streak, capturing the belt and defeating twice the then champion Petr Yan in the process. In his last fight, the champ successfully defended his title against former champion Yan. The Champion also has wins over top bantamweight in Cory Sandhagen and Pedro Munhoz.
On the other hand, Killashaw(18-4) has had only one fight against. He fought former title challenger Cory Sandhagen after returning to the octagon following his suspension. After defeating the then champion Cody Garbrandt twice. He moved down to flyweight to challenge the champ Henry Cejudo, Dillashaw lost the fight and subsequently relinquished his Bantamweight title after USADA violations.
