“I feel fat and gross”- Aljamain Sterling shows shocking results as he steps on the scale a week after UFC 273

Aljamain Sterling

Aljamain Sterling must be on the top of the world right now. Aljamain settled the score when he beat Peter Yan fair and square after by sweeping out a clean split decision victory at the co-main event of UFC 273. Ever since their first clash the fans did not feel that the status quo was correct as the current champion did not really beat his opponent via competency rather he beat him via the consequences of the match.

However, in the rematch at UFC 273, he proved to the critics when he swept a clean split decision win against Peter Yan that he indeed is the champion. The champion is in awe of it and is making sure he celebrates it the right way. Since the fight, he’s been taking shots at the critics.

He’s clapping back on people who had, let’s say, not the nicest things to say about him. He is trolling them by demanding an apology for the same. He took to Twitter blasting Robert Whittaker who was very critical about the champion going into the fight.

“Whats up fellas? I need this back by the morning. Enjoy the night,” Sterling wrote.

A week since his recent win against former champion, Petr Yan, Sterling claims that he is weighing a lot heavier than he usually is. He took to social media to post a video of him on scales. It showed he gained over 40lbs of weight since his weigh-in last Friday. He reportedly weighs in at 176lbs. He captioned the said video “Look at this bantamweight! That’s a sick, sick, man! ? Exactly 1 week after my fight. Wow…”

He further tweeted, reacting to his current state as “fat and gross”. It seems like Aljamain is not liking the status quo and wants to get back in his prime shape. He further wrote in the same tweet. My cheeks are so big. I don’t recognize myself. Diet starts tmw.”

Aljamain looked heavily ripped and shredded a couple of weeks prior to his last bout.

There is no doubt Aljamain would get back in his prime shape again and compete again this year. He claimed in his post-fight interview that he envisages fighting 3 times this year. Now that he has settled the score against Peter Yan, it opens new matchups for him which will make the division extremely exciting, to say the least.
