Anthony Smith attended UFC Vegas 86 as he had desk duty for ESPN. Smith recently fought Khalil Rountree Jr. on short notice and lost via KO. At UFC Vegas 86, Smith met with Uzbekistan’s Bogdan Guskov. Guskov fought in the preliminary card against Zac Pauga and won via knockout.

Nonetheless, the importance of the meeting between Guskov and Smith was due to their striking resemblance. Like Smith, Guskov is also bald and almost has the same facial features. ESPN analyst Karyn Bryant shared the video of Smith and Guskov as they posed for pictures together. This is what she captioned the post.

Anthony Smith said in the video that Guskov was the better-looking of the two. Guskov further referenced that Smith was the old lion and he was the new one, as Smith goes by the nickname “Lion Heart.” Smith further stated that Guskov had a great future ahead of him, and he looked impressive against Pauga.

The fight with at Pauga was Guskov’s second in the UFC. Guskov lost his UFC debut to Volkan Oezdemir at UFC Paris 2023 via knockout. Before his loss to Routree, Smith had defeated Ryan Spann after consecutive losses to Magomed Ankalev and Johnny Walker.
