It is no breaking news that Ariel Helwani and Dana White have been at odds. The MMA journalist has taken to his YouTube show to react to the UFC President slapping his wife at a nightclub on New Year’s Eve. The journo has clapped back with, dare one say, “poetic response” by letting the UFC boss get a taste of his own medicine.
UFC boss Dana White recently was caught on camera, slapping his wife in a nightclub on NYE. The head honcho immediately went on TMZ to apologize for his behavior and calm the storm. Ariel Helwani, who praises White for not coming up with excuses, could not help but bring back a story that stuck to his heart from 6 years ago.
During the Dana – Helwani fallout back in 2016, a fight promoter went on record to clown the reporter for getting emotional about the situation. According to Helwani, Dana White said something along the lines of, “Your kids are gonna see that. Your kids are gonna see that one day, and how embarrassed they would be by seeing their father cry?”
Ariel Helwani took this time to remind White about his words that were hostile. “I’ll raise the same freaking question that he raised about me back in 2016. What are your kids gonna say about you?… About your legacy? What are your kids gonna say about that video?… About the kind of person that you are?… Ask yourself that f***ing question,” said Helwani filled with emotions.

White and Helwani have constantly taken shots at each other. Very recently, Paddy Pimblett was thrown in the crossfire. Pimblett and White bashed the journalist for “feeding off fighters” which triggered another sensational response from the journo.
By the looks of their feud, Helwani and White might never be back on good terms. Despite being banned from UFC pressers, Helwani is still the most-popular MMA journalist. He now hosts his own show called MMA Hour on YouTube.
