“Got two fights of one camp,” Belal Muhammad argues fasting for Ramadan more difficult than Gilbert Burns’ two fights in four weeks
Belal Muhammad confirms that Gilbert Burns has a advantage for getting away with two fights under one training camp.

Belal Muhammad believes Gilbert Burns has been blessed going into the fight due to his long training camp. Muhammad and Gilbert Burns will be taking on each other in the co-main event of UFC 288 PPV which is going to take place this weekend at Prudential Center, New Jersey.
Both fighters are the top contenders of the welterweight championship belt and this fight has a great significance for the division. Burns was active inside the octagon recently when he fought Jorge Masvidal at UFC 287.
It has not been one month since then and the Brazilian is ready for his next fight. Muhammad on the other hand fasted for Ramadan which took place last month. Recently, Muhammad was asked about which of the fighters got the better hand coming into the fight.
Muhammad claimed that Burns’s last fight was very easy and on top of that, he is able to take on two fights in one long camp which is definitely great for any fighter. He said: “I mean that fight was pretty easy for him so for a guy like that you are getting two camps, you got two fights of one camp. So that’s always the blessing for any type of fighter. You always want something like that happen to you.” However, Muhammad also mentioned that Burns won’t be benefited from it as he is going to lose this weekend inside the octagon.

Muhammad has been performing incredibly well for the past few years and despite his win streak, he has yet to get the title shot. However, this time the fighter is eager and desperate to get the title shot and is ready to destroy anybody who is going to come his way. In the new UFC 288 promotional video, Muhammad mentioned that UFC doesn’t give him enough credit and according to him, he’s the best fighter in the division. The fighter is willing to break Gilbert Burns in the upcoming fight in order to make his way up to the welterweight title shot against Leon Edwards.
He said: “I think I am definitely undervalued and underestimated a lot by some fighters and even the UFC. I think they don’t know what they have, I’m the best fighter in the welterweight division, I’ll do anything I can do to get that belt. I want that belt so bad, there’s no more running, there’s no more hiding, the king is here, I’m going to break him.”
The fight between Belal Muhammad and Gilbert Burns has raised a lot of anticipation as it’s going to be an amazing match-up stylistically. It will be interesting to see who among the both will make his way to the title shot.
