Outspoken British MMA figure Darren Till recently ripped rival Belal Muhammad. Till brutally mocked Muhammad’s request for a UFC welterweight title shot against Leon Edwards. Muhammad has campaigned vigorously for the next 170-pound title bid versus Edwards. However, rising Khamzat Chimaev also stakes a strong claim for that opportunity.

Muhammad recently tweeted he would fight Edwards under any circumstances. Darren Till dismissed him and made a snide remark that ridiculed Muhammad as a boring fighter. This is what Muhammad had posted:

Ufc 300, 301. 320 , Ramadan , tomorrow, next week ..date doesn’t matter #ANDNEW.

Till replied to this post with a crude insult. He inferred that Muhammad puts on such dull fights that Till would refuse to watch, even for free. This is what Till said in the post:

The fiery taunt quickly caught Belal Muhammad’s attention online. Never one to back down from verbal warfare, he responded by mocking Till’s British upbringing. Muhammad replied back saying Till had a trailer park. Muhammad and Till have traded verbal barbs frequently without ever fighting. However, Till’s latest jab struck a stronger nerve with Muhammad.

A heated Twitter exchange erupted between rivals Darren Till and Belal Muhammad. The social media spat centered around differing main event predictions for Saturday’s UFC 287 card. Till had predicted that the new middleweight champion Alex Pereira would knock out Israel Adesanya in their title rematch. He also expected a third-round submission for Gilbert Burns against Jorge Masvidal.

Muhammad bluntly responded by calling Till’s fight picks trash. The dismissal touched a nerve with outspoken Till, who questioned whether Muhammad deserved his recent title shot.

The sudden Twitter beef revealed simmering tensions between the welterweight rivals. Muhammad is at the cusp of a title shot. Till remains winless since 2019 after three consecutive UFC defeats. The Brit’s brash interview style keeps him very relevant in MMA circles during his fighting hiatus.

Till has enjoyed ridiculing Muhammad’s methodical fighting approach that coasts to decisions. Till’s constant jabs, even while sidelined, have gradually frustrated the rising contender. A potential grudge match between Till and Muhammad has often been rumored among fans.
