Khabib Nurmagomedov named his hardest-hitting opponent
In an interview with Patrick Bet-David, UFC Hall of Famer Khabib Nurmagomedov revealed the hardest puncher he ever faced. Khabib fought with many skilled opponents in his career, like Dustin Poirier, Conor McGregor, and Michael Johnson. However, Khabib named Justin Gaethje as the hardest puncher.
Khabib fought against Gaethje in the last fight of his career. He successfully defended his title against Gaethje after submitting him in 2nd round of the fight. Though the fight against Gaethje ended earlier than those against Poirier and McGregor, Khabib still mentions ‘The Highlight’ as his heavy-hitting opponent. Khabib compared his experience of Gaethje’s striking style to getting hit by a truck.
But even after getting hit by Gaethje’s strongest punches, Khabib still came out on top to defend his title for the one last time in the octagon.
