“He was such a bro and cool with you,” UFC Phenom Bo Nickal compares 77-year-old Donald Trump’s personality on golf course with ageing Joe Biden

Bo Nickal is one of the rising stars in the UFC. Although his association with the UFC remains recent, he rose to prominence with his impressive performances. He made the headlines when he met former US President Donald Trump. Now, in his recent appearance on the Joe Rogan’s Podcast, Nickal reminisced about the time he played golf with Trump. As such, he revealed Trump’s true persona.

Bo Nickal mentioned an instance when he and Donald Trump went golfing together. He described the experience to be ‘super surreal.’ As such, the golfing ability of the former President amazed Nickal and made him question his age. On that note, he mentioned Trump as cool and gave a brotherly vibe despite his stature. Further, Trump’s smartness and sharpness on the gold court astonished him. Here is what he said:

It was super surreal. He (Donald Trump) was such a bro and so cool. I think he's (in the) upper seventies and (I) couldn't believe how smart and sharp the guy was. I was like 'Wow'!

When talking about Donald Trump’s age, Joe Rogan acknowledged Trump’s youthfulness despite turning 77. He compared Trump to other Presidents like current President Joe Biden, who went to the White House and slowly looked aged. Further, on hearing about Bo Nickal’s time with Trump, Rogan mentioned the media narrative of Trump and questioned the truthfulness of it.

Nickal spoke about a lot more interesting things on the JRE Podcast. As far as his career, he entered the UFC through Dana White’s contender series. Soon, he became one of the hottest prospects as he had a successful wrestling career. He has a record of 5-0 in MMA, with all wins being first-round finishes. His next fight was against Cody Brundage in the historic UFC 300 card.

Bo Nickal and Donald Trump enjoyed the LIV Golf tournament

Donald Trump and the UFC were closely knitted. Recently, the former President made his visit to UFC 296 to support his longtime follower Colby Covington. While many fighters avoid the relationship with Trump for his controversial viewpoints, Covington and Bo Nickal weren’t one of them. As such, Nickal and Trump have net numerous times. Last August, a viral picture of Trump and Nickal together made its rounds on social media.

Bo Nickal and Donald Trump made their presence together at the LIV golf tournament this year. The viral picture was taken during their meeting. As such, Nickal and Trump shared a nice conversation and took a walk along the golf course. He respected Trump for his stature and kept a lookout for him throughout their walk.

Bo Nickal actively competed in the UFC after signing with them in 2022. He earned his UFC contract via Dana White’s Contender Series. However, he already upped his wins in the UFC to two by finishing Jamie Pickett and Valentine Woodburn. Now, he faces Cody Brundage in his next fight, which takes place in UFC 300.
