Internet influencer Bob Menery recently met the UFC Superstar Conor McGregor. The two coincidently met at the Little Woodrow’s Bar in Austin, Texas last week. Now, Menery revealed something shocking when he face-timed UFC CEO Dana White in McGregor’s presence.
Conor McGregor visited the bar to enjoy the action of UFC 299 along with the fans. Unexpectedly, he met Bob Menery there, a former NELK Boys member. While guesting on the ‘Overdogs Podcast’, Menery recalled the incident and disclosed calling Dana White. He stated he face-timed White with McGregor by his side and that he hung the call in just a few seconds. This raised questions about the current relationship between the UFC CEO and the former double champion.
I Face-Timed Dana while he was there, and I don’t know their relationship; I don’t know I was just f**king zapping, and it was like Conor was just sitting there with a big smile, like grinning at him on the FaceTime, and I think Dana just hung up, and it was pretty funny.

The relationship between White and McGregor has been bitter-sweet in recent times. The UFC CEO even blamed McGregor’s lavishness as a reason for his delayed comeback. Also, recently, Nate Diaz called out White for UFC’s unethical leverage to hold McGregor’s contract.
The delay in announcing McGregor’s fight has caused him to become impatient. All these hinted at a strained relationship between them. However, it had nothing to do with White hanging up the face-time call when ‘The Notorious’ was with Bob Menery.
Bob Menery and Dana white didn’t really get along after the former departed from the NELK boys’ cult. However, White tried his best to mediate a smooth re-joining of Menery with the NELK boys. As such, the internet influencer felt he could be the reason for White abruptly exiting face time and not Conor McGregor. This was also believable since Menery often teased White by calling late at night.
Dana White goes off on Bob Menery on the Full Send’s Podcast
Bob Menery was a co-founder of the Full Send Podcast and a crucial part of the NELK Boys. However, he left the group and the podcast in 2022 after some misunderstandings and differences of opinion. Menery even claimed the other members owed him money. Now, after a full year, Dana White arbitrated a reunion between them over the recent episode of the Full Send Podcast. Did it go well?
The Podcast went well and the hosts along with Bob Menery had a fun time. However, it didn’t go without the UFC CEO bringing out the past actions of Menery. He called out the influencer for his wrong actions. He even mentioned him as ‘Delusional’ and listed out a few instances when he pissed him off.
Here is the fu****g problem. The problem is that Bob Menery is absolutely fu****g delusional. Do you think we needed you to introduce us? (NELK boys) But you did and never shut the f**k up about it. And it was so annoying that I gave you $50,000 and said ‘Shut the f**k up!’.

It was clear on whose side Dana White was on. While Bob Menery was the one who introduced White to the NELK Boys, the UFC CEO shared a stronger bond with them. He has been a regular on the Full Send Podcast and has helped them on numerous occasions. His lavish gifts to the NEKL Boys have also been a topic of dissension among MMA fans and UFC athletes. Many believe if White can afford to shower them with expensive gifts then he should also be able to increase the basic fight pay for UFC fighters.
