Johnny Walker is memorable if nothing else. Case in point – UFC 294. The 21-7 light heavyweight last faced Magomed Ankalaev in last year’s card, which ended in a weird skirmish. Recently, the fighter aimed to do ‘whatever it takes’ to defeat Ankalaev and challenge divisional titleholder Alex Pereira at UFC 300. Now, the fighter is currently viral for a whole other reason.

Walker had his bout with Ankalaev deemed a No Contest. after getting hit by an illegal knee. The ruckus that followed even saw CEO Dana White getting involved. Now, a recent video has surfaced on X, that shows the fighter in a jovial discourse. As the video progresses, it shows Walker approaching a street musician, and break-dancing to his jazzy trumpet beats.

Walker is always viral amongst netizens, one way or another. At UFC 294, on the advice of the cage-side doctor, referee Dan Movahedi stopped the bout at 3:13 of Round 1. He interpreted Walker’s taunting as a form of concussion disorientation. Trying to say “in Abu Dhabi”, Walker had said “in the desert”, which spawned the situation. A prime reaction to his dance now labeled him “Most likeable guy in the UFC“.

Even before that, before facing the light heavyweight hitter, Walker was viral at the official weigh-in ceremony. Entering the stage up a flight of stairs, the Brazilian almost tripped and tore his ACL, shocking fans. The recent footage has garnered a plethora of reactions as well.

Many fans have been taken positively by the fighter. A few have thus accordingly instigated a championship status aspiration for him. Consequently, though, they are not far off. Following the UFC 294 fallout Walker himself has gone into overdrive, aiming at the light heavyweight gold. Furthermore, the fighter wishes to rectify things on his own terms when he meets Ankalaev next.
