Brendan Allen secured a dominant victory against Paul Craig in UFC Vegas 82. He controlled the fight on the ground for two rounds and finally secured a rear naked choke in the third. But he had to escape a few submission threats from Craig to do it. After this impressive win, Allen called out the top middleweight contenders, including Khamzat Chimaev.

In the post-fight presentation, Brendan Allen called out for a number one contender’s fight. He stated that it could be against anybody the UFC books him against. As such, he listed out a few names – Robert Whittaker, Jared Cannonier, and Khamzat Chimaev. He took a dig at Chimaev by pronouncing his first name in an NSFW way. Here is what he said:

I need a number-one contender shot. I think I deserve it. I've earned it. I've beat everyone they put in front of me. I've finished them. Whoever the UFC says it is, I don't care who, Whittaker, Cannonier, C**shot, whoever, I don't care.

‘All In’ came into this fight with a five-fight win streak, including three straight submission wins- All the submissions being Rear Naked Chokes. Now, he had extended his win streak to six and his RNC streak to four. As such, Brendan Allen is becoming one of the most dangerous submission specialists in the UFC.

Brendan Allen looks forward to fighting for the title soon. As such, he called the top middleweights in the UFC to prove his worth and stake his claim for the title. Further, in the post-fight press conference, he expressed his wish to fight in the historical card of UFC 300.

Brendan Allen wants to fight for the title next year against Sean Strickland

Brendan Allen got a magnificent finish against Paul Craig in UFC Vegas 82. He finished the latter by an RNC in the third round. Later, in the post-fight presentation, he called out the top-ranked middleweight fighters for a number-one contender’s fight. Afterward, while walking back to the dressing room, he said a few words to Sean Strickland.

Sean Strickland and Brendan Allen had fought earlier in 2020. Now, the positions of both fighters have drastically changed, and this calls for a rematch. As such, Allen confidently said that he would meet Strickland next year. Here is what he said:

Sean (Strickland), I'll see you next year baby. We got unfinished business, we gotta finish that. Well, you finished but we're gonna run that sh** back and Imma fu** you up.

Sean Strickland won the middleweight title in UFC 293, producing a huge upset. He beat the dominant champion in Israel Adesanya by unanimous decision. Now, he faces Dricus Du Plessis for his first title defense. On the other hand, Brendan Allen is on a six-fight win streak and called for a #1 contender’s fight. If both fighters managed to win their next bout, they might meet again soon.
