Bryce Mitchell is a lightweight UFC fighter who is seemingly growing in popularity. He amasses a record of 15 wins and 2 losses in his professional career. Mitchell has devastating wins over Edson Barboza and Charles Rosa. His aggressive grappling style and wrestling skills have earned him a spot in the company. In his last fight, he suffered a loss against Ilia Topuria at UFC 282.
Another thing Mitchell is known for is his wild conspiracy theories. In the peak of Covid-19, the fighter accused the government of creating the virus. Even in terms of the UFC, the lightweight fighter has made claims of fights being rigged. Recently he had claimed the Islam Makhachev vs Alexander Volkanovski fight as being ‘rigged.’ But, Mitchell had made headlines due to his belief in the earth being flat. Known to be a ‘Flat Earther,’ Bryce proceeds to call out government agencies like NASA.
In a new ‘Flat Earth’ documentary by Hibbeler Productions, Bryce Mitchell makes an appearance. The fighter is seemingly delighted due to it. He took to Instagram to post the trailer and captioned it. It reads, “hey yall!! im n a flat earth film it comes out n a week. its another @hibbeler_productions masterpiece. if yall dont kno by now, nasa is fraudulent. theyre evil. thats y their logo is the tounge of a snake. they make up lies like big bang and moon landins cause the elites dont want u to worship God! if ur interested check out the film next week. if not, just do ur own research. true research will lead u rite back to Jesus like it did me!!!“
Fans proceeded to make fun of the fighter for his beliefs. This is not his first time, as he has made claims before. Bryce Mitchell is a huge fan of conspiracy theories and it is evident when looking at his social media accounts. He is set to fight Movsar Evloev at UFC 288.

Another martial artist who believes in ‘Flat Earth’ like Bryce Mitchell is Eddie Bravo
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coach Eddie Bravo is an important figure in mixed martial arts. He is the founder of ’10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu.’ He has coached a few notable fighters like Tony Ferguson, Ben Saunders, and popular podcaster and UFC commentator Joe Rogan.
Much like Bryce Mitchell, Eddie Bravo also believes in the earth being flat. He is a recurring guest on the ‘Joe Rogan Experience podcast and debates on the topic. Although fans disagree, they find the debates hilarious.
Eddie has said the moon landing in 1959 is fake. In the JRE episode no.948, Bravo said “They are all lying.” The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coach believes the government is lying to the citizens regarding the shape of the earth, the moon landing, and the existence of space itself. In every debate, he manages to make Joe Rogan angry and fans love it.
Eddie Bravo’s beliefs have received multiple scrutinies from the science and MMA communities. But, he has not retracted his statement on the earth being flat and not spherical. Bravo and Bryce Mitchell are avid advocates regarding the shape of the earth being flat.
