Candace Owens is a really good friend of UFC welterweight Colby Covington and would even go against UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov for her associate. Earlier this year, “The Eagle” got brutally criticized by the political commentator on Twitter.

Earlier this year, Colby Covington got ambushed by Jorge Masvidal after his win against him. Masvidal chose violence outside the octagon as a response to Covington’s insults toward his family. Khabib Nurmagomedov, who is known to preach about respect and moral values criticized “Chaos” Covington for crossing the lines with his trash-talking.

In his tweet reacting to the incident between Masvidal and Covington, the Dagestani suggested all welterweights should boycott the latter and refuse to fight against him in the octagon. Candace Owens, who has been associated with UFC in the past due to her relationship with Colby and UFC President Dana White, resonated with a tweet that said, “Khabib is so soft.”

In her response to Nurmagomedov, she wrote, “Right? This is so embarrassing. Calling for a boycott. He better go buy a p**sy hat and join the NBA. MMA is a man’s sport.” Owens and Covington are still good confidants and the fighter was also present at the premiere of the activist’s documentary screening.

Khabib Nurmagomedov retired with a record of 29-0 in his career as a professional fighter. He fought in the UFC and went undefeated in his run and defended his lightweight title three times. He is also considered the greatest of all time by many because of his clean record and his dominance in the UFC. Colby Covington does not think he is the best fighter of all time.

“Yeah, he’s in the conversation. He’s up there but he never really defended his title that many times,” said Covington in an interview with James Lynch. The former interim welterweight champion believes “The Eagle” did not test himself against enough well-rounded fighters to be considered the greatest of all time.

“I don’t consider him the greatest of all time. I mean, he has a great resume. Retiring undefeated is a great mark but he didn’t challenge or defend that title enough times,” added Covington. There have also been times when “Chaos” has not had nice words to say about the former lightweight champion.
