Charles Oliveira is the new king of the lightweight division and has proved his dominance time and time again. After the retirement of Khabib Nurmagomedov, Oliveira beat Michael Chandler to win the vacant lightweight championship belt. Since then the Brazilian has defended his title twice against extremely tough opponents such as Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje.
After losing the belt at UFC 274 after failing to make the weight, Oliveira is currently the number one contender of the belt. But most fight fans still consider him the champion even without the possession of the belt. The new challenge that Oliveira will have to go through is his title fight with Islam Makhachev which recently got announced by the UFC.
The fight is going to take place at UFC 280 on October 22 in Abu Dhabi and the hype around it is humongous. This is the fight that everybody wanted to see and now they will witness one of the biggest lightweights bouts in recent times.
Charles Oliveira shares stage with a Brazilian music star
Oliveira was recently at a music concert in Brazil to which he was invited as a guest.
The concert was organised for the Brazilian musician, Kawe who is extremely famous for his singles and albums. Kawe also invited the UFC champion to the stage and introduced him to the energetic crowd who were in a mood partying.
The musician also shared some pictures that his team took of him and Oliviera and posted them on his official Instagram account. In the pictures, Oliveira can be seen white t-shirt over a black jacket with white sneakers and a few gold chains. The outfit really suited the occasion and ‘do Bronx’ looked amazing. Kawe in the caption of the post mentioned Oliviera’s trademark line. He wrote ” The Champion has a name.”

ra is currently at the top of his game and has become a huge star in both inside and outside of UFC. The fighter has made Brazil proud by becoming such a dominant and respectful champion. The Brazilians support their athletes in different sports such as football, MMA etc and always shower them with enormous love and affection.
