Charles Oliveira meets Mark Coleman and calls him the ‘ Godfather of ground and pound ‘. Mark Coleman is a legend of the sport and a UFC Hall of Famer. He was the first ever UFC Heavyweight Champion and was extremely dominant. He was the first fighter to come up with the technique ground and pound using his ability to wrestle with his opponents. His accomplishments inside the ring using that strategy gave him the name ‘The Godfather of Ground & Pound’.
Coleman paved the way for all the MMA fighters from wrestling and Brazilian jiu-jitsu background to get takedowns on opponents and control them. Oliviera shared the picture on his official Twitter account and paid respect to the veteran fighter. Oliviera revealed that it was great moment for him to meet one of greatest athletes of the sport.
Oliviera wrote :

Coleman also shared Oliveira’s tweet and mentioned how much he loved Charles Oliveira.
Oliviera is currently on his own way be one of greatest lightweight to ever do it. However, it will be hard to match the undefeated record and sheer domimace of Khabib Nurmagomedov, it will still be an amazing competition.
