Chase Sherman found none other than,’The Juice’ OJ Simpson at his after-party post his victory over Jared Vanderaa at UFC Vegas 58. After a high-paced back and forth battle, Sherman walked out with a round 3 TKO victory over Vanderaa.
While meeting another sports legend in OJ might have been a suiting experience to top off his victorious night, it was his caption that stole the show. What caption can go well with a multiple-time Super Bowl athlete and a UFC fighter? Well in essence they’re both killers.
Yes, Chase Sherman captioned his picture with OJ Simpson on Instagram as “killers” with the Gorrila emoji to go along with it. Many MMA fans may not really know what OJ is otherwise known for. Yes he was the youngest to win a Heisman Trophy, Yes was the first NFL player to dash 2000+ yards in a single season but he also had a little something called, “The Trial of the century”

Chase Sherman’s caption with OJ Simpson had people losing their minds
Yes, OJ Simpson was part of an infamous trial, where he was accused of murdering his ex-wife and her then-boyfriend at their home in Brentwood, CA. What’s worse, this was preceded by a slow-speed chase down the highway with Simpson threatening to kill himself if he were to be arrested. All of this was televised on National Television.
The trial would go on and OJ would assemble a team of star lawyers hoping to be acquitted from the case. These included names like, Robert Shapiro, Johnny Cochran and Robert Kardashian (Yes Kim and the other Kardashian’s father) Assembling a dream team worked for OJ as he was controversially acquitted on all charges after weeks of deliberation.
While the courts have forgiven him, most people with a synapse traveling to their brain realize that OJ was guilty of something relating to the death of his wife. After serving time for an unrelated crime, OJ is back prowling the streets and dropping knowledge bombs on Twitter.
In the replies to his post, Chase’s performance was totally overshadowed by his caption with many people including FRM management laughing at the ridiculousness of it.
The heavyweight currently has a record of 16 victories and 10 losses and can look forward to more fun scraps at heavyweight in light of his most recent performance.
