Marlon Vera plans to finish Sean O’Malley as soon as he can get his hands on the champion. O’Malley became the UFC bantamweight champion in style by dropping Aljamain Sterling at the main event of UFC 292. The fight was impressive and it made Suga a bigger superstar. Now, fight fans are waiting for his next fight announcement from the UFC. 

One of the major names that pops out is Sean O’Malley‘s former opponent, Marlon Vera, who has already defeated O’Malley. During a recent Q&A session at Noche UFC, Vera was asked if he’s going to knockout O’Malley in the rematch.

He said, “I’m gonna put him out before even the bell rings, he’s a p****…i just keep getting better, keep training. Stay in a better shape. Better technique than I had before. He’s good fighter, he has the belt but make no mistake, I’m gonna kick is a** again.” 

Chitto claimed that he’s going to finish Suga even before the fight starts. Vero explained that O’Malley is a good fighter and is the current champion; however,he’s going to put an end to this and beat Sean soon. It will be interesting to see if the champion accepts to fight Vera next.

Sean O’Malley thinks he can knockout Alexander Volkanovski in next two years 

After becoming the bantamweight champion, Sean O’Malley is already eyeing the opportunity to move up and fight Alexander Volkanovski. In episode #122 of The BrO’Malley Show, which is hosted by Sean O’Malley and his brother Daniel, the bantamweight champion discussed his aspirations to become a double champion.

He said, “I’m not saying I wouldn’t fight Volk, I’m just being very honest. He would be a very, very difficult fight. Do I believe I could knock him out? 100%. I believe I can knock out anybody around 135, 145 [pounds]. 155, that’d be a little tougher, I’d need to put on some [weight]. But Volk is a very difficult fight, I’m not saying I would never fight him. I’m just saying that’s not what I want next. I don’t know, maybe a year, maybe two years.” on his YouTube channel.

O’Malley is confident that he can knockout anybody in the bantamweight to featherweight division. But he is still cautious about fighting Volkanovski and mentioned that he needs to put on some mass in order to do so. The fighter is planning to take some time before finally moving up.
