Chris Curtis is starting to gain a lot of notoriety in the UFC. The Welterweight is known for his well-spoken nature and striking ability. With a record of 30 wins and 09 losses, the ‘Action Man’ is attracting a crowd of fans.
Recently, the ‘Action Man’ uploaded a social media post that garnered some attention. Chris went on to insult Raul Rosas Jr. for his speech delays. Raul Rosas Jr. is the youngest fighter in the UFC and has been gaining popularity. In a sit-down with the reporters recently, Raul took a slight dig at Chris. “Take some notes,” said Rosas after getting criticized for being on the main card. One of the critics was Chris Curtis, who took it personally. Although Rosas never mentioned any names, Curtis went on to insult him.
“He [Raul Rosas Jr.] took a lil f****** jab at me about the prelim thing,” said Curtis. “First of all, I’m not gonna take s*** from a kid who speaks in subtitles,” referring to Rosas’ Pallister W syndrome. This was a below-the-belt move from the ‘Action Man.’ As he was about to go further, the video cut off.
Fans were not happy with these comments toward Raul. They felt like Chris was mocking someone with a disability. Some of them felt like he was being ‘salty’ for not getting a main card shot. Chris Curtis is yet to respond to the backlash from fans.
