“Corner spot open” – Chris Curtis requests Darren Till to corner him at UFC London fight

Chris Curtis asks Darren Till to corner him at UFC London
Chris Curtis has offered Darren Till an opportunity to still be a part of UFC London. The rising middleweight wants the Liverpool fighter to corner him at the O2 Arena in his fight against Jack Hermansson.
Chris Curtis turned out to be a real savior for UFC after Darren Till pulled out last moment ahead of UFC London. UFC Fight Night at the O2 Arena in London was supposed to be Liverpool fighter and former title contender Darren Till’s comeback fight after being laid off due to injury. But misfortune struck the Scouser once again as he pulls out of the fight due to another injury.
Chris called to replace Darren and seemed to have got the spot in a fight against veteran Jack Hermansson in the co-main event. UFC London takes place at the O2 Arena on 23rd July and is headlined by Curtis Blaydes and Tom Aspinall. Curtis will now have the opportunity to fight in one of the biggest arenas in the world. The Action Man wants Darren in his corner and to help him win the fight against Jack. The Liverpool fighter has an interesting response.

“Hey @darrentill2, Strickland isn’t allowed in England also I have a corner spot open. You down?” wrote Curtis calling out the English fighter to corner him in the fight. Sean Strickland, Chris, Darren, and Khamzat Chimaev all trained together leading up to UFC 273. That is when Curtis became an acquaintance of the English fighter.
To his surprise, Darren was down to corner the fighter who replaced him. Curtis was more than excited to know Darren’s response, and wrote, “Let’s f*king gooooo!”
Curtis is coming off a three-fight win streak and is currently looking to rise to the top of the rankings with a win over Hermansson. Chris only fought last month against Rodolfo Vieira in Las Vegas at the Apex. Curtis has a record of 28-8 in his professional career and looks very promising, judging from his performances in the UFC.
