With trash-talkers and hilarious personalities on the stage, the MMA world eagerly awaited the UFC 296 press conference. As such, the pressers went down today and delivered interesting exchanges. One such exchange occurred between Covington and Tony Ferguson.

At first, ‘Chaos’ mocked Ferguson’s fight spot at the event and later made a mockery out of his losing streak. ‘El-Cucuy’ jumped in to defend himself and got involved in a heated exchange. However, in the end, they found common ground with being Americans and wanted to win this weekend for their country. Here is what Covington said to mock Ferguson:

Colby Covington makes his comeback in UFC 296 after a 21-month layoff. As such, he takes on Leon Edwards for the welterweight title. On the other hand, Tony Ferguson enters the octagon against Paddy Pimblett in an attempt to break his six-fight losing streak. As such, UFC 296 goes down this weekend in T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas.

As expected, we got a heated exchange between the two popular fighters. ‘Chaos’ with his fight persona on, didn’t hold back in throwing insults at ‘El Cucuy’. Also, Ferguson, being Ferguson, had fun with it and joined in the banter.
Even though they had a verbal altercation, they kept it under limit and didn’t agitate anyone. As such, Covington revealed that he would be rooting for ‘El Cucuy’ this weekend. Moreover, they complimented each other at the end and teamed up to win this weekend for their country. The fight fans enjoyed the altercation between them.
