Colby Covington and Ian Garry have reignited their rivalry. Covington recently took aim once again at Ian Machado Garry. The former interim welterweight champion responded fiercely to Garry’s proposal. Garry had suggested an ‘I Quit Match’ for a potential bout.

Covington is well known for his brash persona. He did not hold back. The American welterweight unleashed a scathing video on social media, mocking Garry’s idea. Colby Covington labeled the Irishman a ‘c**k boy.’ This is what he said:

An ‘I quit’  match implies there is no disqualification and no time limit. No commission would ever approve that. Besides, we already saw you quit back in December before the press conference.

Covington reiterated his outrageous ideas. He said Garry must let critics comment on his Instagram posts. He also said Garry’s wife, Layla Anna-Lee, needed to beg him to fight. Covington wanted Layla in one of his betting videos, too. In this video, Covington once again remained adamant about wanting Garry’s wife to beg him for the fight.

Garry disregarded Covington’s outrageous stipulation needs. The Irishman proposed an ‘I Quit Match’ in opposition to Covington. This supposed that whoever lost the bout needed to leave the UFC. Garry also wondered about Covington’s legitimacy as a fan-preferred fighter. He mocked Covington’s resume of losing 3 UFC welterweight title fights. Garry proclaimed himself the final nail in the coffin for Covington’s ‘legacy of failure.’

Garry vowed to rid the UFC of Colby Covington for good. He promised to ‘make MMA great again’ by defeating the veteran. This heated video reaction occurred after Covington launched a video calling out Garry. Covington had demanded Garry have his wife Layla beg him for a fight. He also insisted she should feature in his betting video.
