Colby Covington makes shocking claim of Sean Strickland ‘pistol whipping’ man in Las Vegas

Colby Covington is the brash and polarizing personality in the welterweight division. He recently made a shocking allegation against Sean Strickland. Covington revealed that Strickland was currently under investigation in Las Vegas for allegedly pistol-whipping a man on the street.

Colby Covington recently claimed that Sean Strickland went outside his home after a drunk man wandered near the property. Covington alleged that Strickland then proceeded to pistol-whip the individual in the middle of the street. This is what Covington stated:

That guy's gonna end up literally killing someone someday. He’s under investigation right now in Vegas. Some drunk guy was wandering the street in Las Vegas like near his home. He goes outside the home, pistol-whips the guy in the middle of the street… He’s gonna be going to court.

Covington’s relationship with Strickland is argume­ntative, with frequent dispute­s. However, Covington made a ne­w grave claim against Strickland. It’s critical to state Strickland hasn’t addresse­d these accusations publicly yet. At the moment, Covington’s claims remain unconfirmed until authorities or Strickland provide more de­tails.

The allegations arose as Colby Covington aimed to re­cover from his recent UFC 296 loss to Le­on Edwards in December. Curre­ntly fourth in the UFC welterwe­ight division rankings, Covington hopes to face Ian Machado Garry sooner this ye­ar.

Sean Strickland launched a scathing attack on Colby Covington. He passionately defended Leon Edwards. Strickland tore into Covington for his controversial comments about Edwards’ deceased father. Strickland is never one to mince words. He unleashed his fury on Covington’s actions.

The former middleweight champion accused Covington of betraying his supposed values. He said that Covington took advantage of everyone he knew. Strickland insinuated that Colby was a bad person and he took him as a personal insult to his own self. Strickland also commended Edwards’ mother for raising a “good man” and a champion.

Covington is known for his brash personality. He had made crass remarks about Edwards’ father during the UFC 296 pre-fight press conference. Covington stated that he would bring Edwards to the seventh layer of hell. He then said that Edwards could say hello to his father there. This infuriated the usually calm Edwards, who threw a water bottle at Covington. These comments drew widespread criticism and prompted an on-stage brawl between the two fighters.
