Colby Covington is one of the most polarizing figures in the UFC. His association with Donald Trump is well known. Covington recently stunned the internet with an amazing picture. Covington shared the image of himself with the former President and his son on the social media platform X.
It showed Colby Covington, Donald Trump, and Trump’s son, Baron Trump standing side-by-side. What caught people’s attention most was Baron Trump’s incredible height. At just 18 years old, he appears to stand around 6’7″ tall.

Covington seemed dwarfed next to Baron. The former interim UFC welterweight champion stands at 5’11” tall. Chaos is an outspoken supporter of the former president. He’s a self-professed member of Trump’s “MAGA” movement and talks about him publicly any chance he gets. The former President even comes to watch Covington’s fights, the latest of which was UFC 296. Interestingly, Covington made headlines in 2018 by visiting the White House and talking his belt along.
The outspoken welterweight recently lost his title bout to the UK’s Leon Edwards. After that, he has however traded verbal jabs with Ian Garry multiple times. Both he and Garry have expressed their intent on fighting each other. The back and forth between these brazen welterweights have garnered the attention of fight fans.
Colby Covington graciously accepts comparison to Donald Trump
Colby Covington was recently on SOSCAST w/ Adam Sosnick’s podcast. There the fighter was naturally likened to former US President, Donald Trump. He proudly embraced this comparison as he idolized Trump. This is also because he has cultivated a similar persona to the former President.

The comparison referenced their propensity for courting controversy. Trump gained notoriety for making controversial comments in politics and Covington for his comments in MMA. Chaos took pride in the analogy, recognizing parallels between them. He praised Trump’s business acumen and ability to generate profits.
I take pride in that, man. He talks the talk, and he walks the walk…It's all about doing good business for the UFC; it's all about making money.Colby Covington via SOSCAST w/ Adam Sosnick YT
The former interim champion believed no one understood moneymaking better than the billionaire businessman-turned-politician. He seemed intent on mirroring Trump’s approach to self-promotion and gain. Like Trump, he embraced his status as a disruptive, polarizing figure. He believed that controlling fan backlash ultimately fueled his profitability.
