Colby Covington gives his predictions for UFC 274 main event
UFC welterweight superstar Colby Covington reveals his pick for the upcoming lightweight title fight between Charles Oliveira and Justin Gaethje at UFC 274.
UFC 274 is nearing and the PPV card is headlined by two extraordinary fighters in the lightweight division. Justin Gaethje will take on Charles Oliveira for the lightweight belt as he looks to fulfill his championship dream in his second title fight. Colby Covington, a PPV star himself, has his predictions out for the upcoming card and he reveals his pick in the most Colby way possible.
“Greetings nerds and virgins,” opened Colby with his iconic catchphrase for his prediction video. “We have UFC 274 going down tonight with Brazil’s second-favorite fighter, right behind yours truly, Charles Oliveira taking on duck-lip Gaethje.”
The upcoming title fight is a very interesting one given the belt has been stripped off from Oliveira following his weigh-in mishap as he turned out to weigh 0.5 pounds over the championship weight. Charles will no longer be eligible to win the belt in the upcoming fight and Justin only has the chance to become the champion.
Colby Covington responds to Justin Gaethje’s comments on a potential fight
“We all heard what you said to the Nelk Boys, Gaethje. Even though you are dumber than a bag of rocks, at least you are smart enough to know if we ever get locked into the cage, I’ll beat the ever-living sh*t out of you,” said Covington replying to Gaethje’s comments in his recent appearance on the NELK Boys podcast.
“If you look in the mirror, I guess two mirrors in your case, one right in front of you, and one in the side for your lazy eye. You look in those mirrors and get honest again, you don’t stand a chance tonight either,” continued Colby Covington as he picks Oliviera to beat Justin in the main event of UFC 274.
Gaethje is coming off a win against Michael Chandler in a Fight Of The Year winner bout and Oliveira is coming off a title defense against Dustin Poirier at UFC 269.
