Joe Rogan is famous for his UFC commentary and wild reactions. He also hosts his own podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience. Rogan recently celebrated his 56th birthday. Out of so many well wishes and greetings, the one made by Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu legend Gordon Ryan was a standout.

Ryan is a well-known submission grappler and BJJ world champion. He went on his Instagram handle to wish Rogan. Ryan wrote, “Happy 64th birthday to my good friend @joerogan. He is amongst the best looking mid 60 year olds I know”. Fans have reacted to the post in large numbers and many commented that Ryan actually looked even older than Rogan. The joking gestures have been appreciated by all. The two celebrities have always had a good relationship. Ryan has also been a guest in The Joe Rogan Experience multiple times.

Today, Joe Rogan is undoubtedly an important part of the UFC. Through his excellent fight analysis and commentary, he has made solid bonds with almost all fighters in the UFC. His humorous reactions to knockouts and takedowns are a part of the recent pop culture.

As Rogan gets a year older, he has a lot of achievements to be proud of. Ryan too has achieved a lot at 28 years of age. He has won gold in the majority of his World Championship BJJ bouts and was also signed by One Championship. In recent events, his grappling video with Jon Jones has gone viral. The video shows the two going toe to toe during a friendly session.

The current UFC Heavyweight champ Jon Jones was recently seen grappling with Gordon Ryan, the BJJ legend. Ryan proved to be a fit match for the UFC Heavyweight Champion. Jones earlier reigned over the Lightweight division in UFC. Jones was not active in the UFC after 2020. He finally graced the octagon within his presence earlier this year as a Heavyweight. His win over Ciryl Gane at UFC 285 gave him the Heavyweight title.

Jones and Ryan are both masters on the mat. Both of them hold an undisputed reputation in their own fields. Ryan is also known for defeating fellow grapplers like Dillion Danis. He is reputedly the best grappler in the No Gi form.

Citing health issues Ryan will not be fighting anytime soon. He revealed that he is suffering from a severe stomach condition. Jones on the other hand is facing the former Heavyweight Champion Stipe Miocic, on UFC 295. H will be defending his Heavyweight title for the first time.
