UFC commentator Joe Rogan’s eyes always light up when his podcast guest brings up mixed martial arts or combat sports. Rapper Danny Brown left Rogan in splits with his hilarious story of training Muay Thai.

Recently UFC commentator, and podcast kingpin, Joe Rogan had one of the most unique and popular rappers from Detroit, Michigan, on his popular podcast. The MMA connoisseur was all ears listening to the rapper narrating his experience in a Muay Thai gym. Brown, who is 41 years old explained, he sought Muay Thai to make sure he can stay in shape and also have fun while doing it.

Brown explains he caught the whole gym off guard on his first day as he walked in to train with Gucci shorts. Brown, after the weird reaction from his gym mates, decided to get himself Muay Thai shorts. Danny Brown being Danny Brown went on to purchase some of the most shiniest shorts that one could choose to wear in a Muay Thai gym.

“I bought the shiniest Muay Thai shorts I could find and those motherf**kers look like gold,” said Danny Brown as Joe Rogan burst out in laughter. “One of the teachers, she’s like, ‘You know, you’ve got these shiny-a** shorts on. You worried about the wrong sh**,'” continued Brown.

Joe Rogan himself is a perfectionist when it comes to mixed martial arts and even he believes the Muay Thai purists need to “let that sh*t go” when a person decides to wear an unorthodox style of shorts to train. “You’re Danny Brown you should be allowed to wear whatever f**kin shorts you want,” said Rogan.
