Charles Oliveira vs. Arman Tsarukyan goes down on the historical fight card of UFC 300. Having fought both fighters, lightweight contender Beneil Dariush made a bold prediction recently. During his appearance on the Jaxxon Podcast, Dariush made a bold prediction about the Armenian fighter.

Beneil Dariush envisioned a scenario where Arman Tsarukyan would get the better of Charles Oliveira in the initial rounds. However, he acknowledged Olveira’s chances in the later rounds. The three-round format instead of five-rounds made Darish think the Armenian fighter could win.

I'm leaning towards Arman because it's a three round fight. I think he's going to win the early rounds. If Charles wins, it'll be more later on. That's how I feel.

Beneil Dariush gave the strength and speed advantage to the Armenian fighter. However, Dariush acknowledged the experience of Charles Oliveira and deduced his capability to ‘come alive’ as the fight progressed.

I think Arman has a strength and speed advantage. But experience is with Charles. So, it's just how far in the fight goes and how the fight goes. (Oliveira) seems to come alive as the fight goes on. He's got a lot of tricks and he's a great fighter too. Great fighters seem to find holes as a fight gets longer... At the same time, Arman could finish it early on, or he could ride him out. He's got all the skills.

Dariush’s analysis relies on the three-round affair. If the UFC 300 main card featured five rounds, Oliveira holds the advantage. Oliveira is never gun-shy and Tsarukyan pressures with his wrestling. Hence, the fight has ‘Fight of the Night’ potential written all over it.
