Conor McGregor seems to have squashed his beef with KSI as he congratulates the British on his boxing win. The YouTuber turned boxer last weekend fought English businessman and boxer, Joe Fournier and managed to get a win via KO.
The fight took place inside the Wembley Arena in London and the hype around it was pretty huge. Conor McGregor seems to have also enjoyed the fight and as he went on twitter to share his opinion.
“I seen it, I liked it. He goin’, fair play, KSI,” wrote McGregor.
The end attracted a lot of controversy when KSI appeared to make contact with Fournier’s jaw with his elbow during the sequence that led to the knockout victory. If done intentionally, it would have disqualified the Influencer Boxer but it was an accident which according to many should be a no contest. Instead, KSI was crowned the winner after Fournier was left unconscious after he fell to the ground. However, this didn’t stop McGregor to acknowledge KSI for his fourth consecutive boxing win.
Throwback to when KSI and Conor went all out against each other on a Twitter altercation
Conor McGregor and KSI are not unknown to each other as both have collaborated in a video on KSI’s YouTube channel in 2017. Back then both played the UFC video game together and had a good laugh.
However, things got heated up between these two last year in December when KSI was supposed to fight Dillon Danis in a boxing bout. Ahead of the fight, McGregor in a twitter interaction called KSI a nerd and mentioned that he isn’t interested in YouTube boxing.
“Brother you’re a friendly little nerd I don’t care. He should be back doing mma if he is doing this little nothing burger match with you. I couldn’t care less about this genre of boxing, I am sorry. Have a good one,” wrote McGregor.
It was in response after KSI claimed that he would beat Dillion Danis, McGregor’s boy in the fight. Danis and McGregor are old friends, and the Irishman was learning BJJ from Danis back in 2017.
