UFC superstar Conor McGregor has called out Justin Gaethje after his UFC 291 incredible knockout win. He is also one of the most entertaining fighters with a very active social media presence. His return to the UFC as a coach in The Ultimate Fighter season 31 is his second season coaching TUF against Michael Chandler is building up well to their fight.
The new BMF champion Justin Gaethje knocked out Dustin Poirier to earn his belt at UFC 291. This caught McGregor’s attention and the “Notorious one” took to Twitter where he took a shot at the BMF champ. He believes he can slap Gaethje around and control him in the ring. He also nullified his match against Chandler by saying “I’m the real bmf, he can fight for pennies if he wants but I want spirits, I call the shots, I’m in it to launch shots, fu*k chandler, you want it call for it.”
McGregor’s team of prospects managed to get their first win in the last round of the quarter-finals. Chandler’s team of veterans on the other hand comfortably won 7 out of the 8 matches. The two fighters have built up the heat between them and have had physical altercations during the season.
The fight between the two lightweights is much anticipated and may earn the winner of the fight a shot at the BMF championship too. Both McGregor and Chandler are renowned for their striking and have never had boring fights in the UFC. Fans will look forward to the matchup between the two coaches soon.
Michael Chandler reacts to Conor McGregor’s Justin Gaethje call-out tweet

The intensity between McGregor and Chandler could be seen on TUF 31. The two have also gone back and forth on social media multiple times. McGregor’s disinterest in the fight with Chandler has caused “Iron” to reply.
Chandler took to Twitter where he replied to McGregor’s post by saying “This guy…” expressing his disappointment. Chandler also tweeted at the “Mac” to “just pee in the cup”. He took a jibe at McGregor who has not entered the USADA testing pool officially yet.
The two fighters will meet again in the semi-finals of the TUF competition. They do promise an entertaining second half of the season. Fans will look forward to seeing them coach their respective teams.
