UFC superstar and former double champion Conor McGregor is not one to back down from a challenge. McGregor is known for his trash-talking abilities and uses them to get into the mind of his opponent before the fight. He is very active on various social media platforms and trolls his opponents online. He recently fired back at BMF champion Justin Gaethje who wanted to end the Irishman’s career.

McGregor took to Instagram where he posted a video of Gaethje talking about his dreams of ending McGregor’s career. In a classic McGregor fashion, he captioned the video, “I’m gonna puck him around”. He believes that the fight will not go the way that Gaethje dreamt of it. McGregor’s belief in himself and mental dismantlement of his opponent have often been the key to victory for the Irishman.

This all started when McGregor harshly reacted to Gaethje’s BMF title win against former rival Dustin Poirier. McGregor sent a challenge to Gaethje right after his win undermining his upcoming fight against Michael Chandler. Gaethje noticed the Irishman’s callout and said that he had already been turned down by McGregor six times before his title win.

Even though, many fighters have warned McGregor about fighting the “Highlight”, there is no doubt that McGregor will not stay down. The fight between the two fighters promises fireworks. Fans will look forward to seeing the two strikers face off in the cage soon.

Gaethje is present in Sydney, Australia for the UFC 293 event and spoke about his undisputed title ambitions. Gaethje has competed for the title twice before and wants to win it for what could be his last shot. Before expressing his wish to end McGregor’s career, Gaethje explained why he is next in line for the title.

Gaethje spoke about how winning the undisputed championship is the biggest thing and the ultimate goal for any fighter. He spoke about how Alexander Volkanovski already had his shot at the title and lost it. Gaethje believes that due to his dominant performance over Poirier, he should be next in line. He mentioned that if he would not have knocked out Poirier in such a dominant fashion, Volkanovski would have a better argument.

Gaethje is one of the most exciting fighters and a true BMF champion. His punching power and striking skills are renowned in the MMA community. However, it remains to be seen who fights for the title next in the lightweight division.
