In addition to MMA, Conor has competed in the biggest combat sports event against Floyd Mayweather. The exhibition bout held in 2017 garnered a lot of attention. However, Floyd Mayweather Sr. and the ‘Notorious’ Conor McGregor were seen as being cordial with each other. After the event, the two were recorded having a friendly conversation backstage. They decided to set their differences apart and were willing to embrace each other. This was a wholesome moment for some fight fans. Although, the majority of Conor’s fans took to Twitter with suspicion of drug usage.

Nonetheless, fans noticed something different about McGregor. Although The ‘Notorious’ looked cheerful in meeting Floyd Sr., he seemed particularly hyperactive. In the video, the fighter is seen as agitated. Fans instantly took to the reply section to make fun of the MMA icon. 

Conor McGregor has not stepped in the octagon in over two years. The fighter was rumored to fight Manny Pacquiao in a boxing ring. However, the talks regarding that fight had come to grief. Fans are eager to witness McGregor’s next fighting endeavor.

Fans react to Conor McGregor’s backstage exchange with Floyd Mayweather Sr.

UFC superstar Conor McGregor’s rivalry against Floyd Mayweather was well-documented prior to their bout in 2017. Dubbed ‘The Money Fight,’ the Mayweather vs McGregor boxing match is considered one of the biggest combat sporting events of all time. The fight ended in round 10 as Floyd defeated Conor via TKO. The ‘Notorious’ revealed that this exhibition bout earned him $100 million in total.

Despite losing the fight, Conor McGregor has continued to take jabs at Floyd Mayweather. The conflict between the two fighters has come to a halt since then. Nonetheless, the new video surfacing of McGregor’s wholesome interaction with Floyd Mayweather Sr. proved to end their discord. Previous to their bout, Floyd Mayweather Sr. had also insulted and called out The ‘Notorious.’ Although fans noticed an unusual Conor McGregor in the video.

Fans on Twitter continued to point and laugh at Conor McGregor’s antiques. Former opponent Floyd Mayweather had hinted in an interview about a fight in 2023 between him and ‘The Notorious.’ With their first bout witnessing massive success, fight fans are longing for another match between the two.
