Conor McGregor hints at historical UFC 300 card after giving important update for return

The UFC superstar Conor McGregor attended the grand event of Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou recently. It was a massive event, and many combat sports legends and celebrities made their presence in the fight. In the lead-up to the fight, TNT Sports interviewed McGregor and asked him about his return.
Conor McGregor replied that the UFC was planning to make his comeback fight in April. That is the same time UFC 300 is speculated to happen. So, McGregor might be headlining the historical card of UFC 300. He further said that he was in a good spot and was fully healed. Further, he added that he would’ve loved an early comeback by December, but the UFC had other plans. Here is what McGregor said about his return:

I would have loved in December, I would've loved in early, I would've dialed in earlier. But I wanna be honest, not just to myself, but my fans and whatnot. April's a lovely runup for me.
Conor McGregor also expressed his eagerness to get back in the octagon. The Irishman had been out of competition for almost two and a half years now. He injured himself in his last fight with Dustin Poirier. However, McGregor said that he was fully healed and trained regularly. He wanted to pick himself up from where he left off.
‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor is a huge star in MMA, and the UFC wouldn’t leave the opportunity to put him on the historical card of UFC 300. Earlier, it was said that McGregor would fight Michael Chandler on his return but nothing official as of now. So, hopefully, we might see McGregor vs. Chandler in the massive event of UFC 300.

The former UFC champion Conor McGregor said he would love to return to boxing in an interview with TNT Boxing. He mentioned wanting someone from the MMA sphere to win the boxing crossover matchups. Further, he said that he believed that he was the person who could do it.
Conor McGregor extended his thoughts on his boxing return and mentioned that Manny Pacquiao was a possible opponent for him. That fight was rumored to happen, but it fell off. Now, McGregor said it was highly possible for the matchup to happen in Saudi Arabia. After the spectacle of Battle of the Baddest, this will attract the eyes of all combat fans if it happens. However, Conor McGregor ruled out the possibility of it happening soon. He said that he plans to return to the UFC before venturing into boxing once again. So, we will see ‘The Notorious’ in the UFC octagon next. He is expected to fight in the historic UFC 300 card.
