UFC superstar Conor McGregor is known for his business ventures and intelligent business decisions. One of his most recent business ventures is the Proper No. Twelve Irish whiskey. McGregor has always promoted the brand and has also posted about it multiple times on social media. He also recently launched a new flavor of the alcoholic beverage.

The ‘Notorious’ took to Instagram where he reposted kickboxing and MMA world champion Shauna Bannon holding a pint of his forged Irish Stout. He captioned the story saying “2 gorgeous Irish blondes, hard to beat” referring to Bannon and the glass of stout. He also posted a series of stories after that promoting the new Irish Apple Proper No. Twelve flavor.

McGregor also did a hilarious introduction video for the new flavor of his beverage referencing the iconic video of Apple owner Steve Jobs. McGregor reenacted the infamous video of Jobs in which he introduced the iPhone for the first time.

In 2019, the launch of the new whiskey brand proved to be a hit, contributing to the milestone of Irish whiskey sales surpassing $1 billion in the U.S. This success continued into the following year, with sales increasing by 12 percent and reaching the same milestone for the first time. McGregor’s skills at marketing a product are one of the main reasons for the success.

The fight between McGregor and Max Holloway was a very interesting matchup. They fought each other at UFC Fight Night 26 in 2013 in which McGregor came out victorious. It was the beginning of McGregor’s decorated UFC career and a five-fight winning streak.

McGregor has always respected Holloway and took to Twitter when asked about a potential rematch with “Blessed”. He said, “I’m never retiring so we defo fighting, lad”. Even though he has retired in the past and come back from it.

McGregor and Holloway are both known for their aggressive fighting styles, and they put on a show for the fans. The rematch between McGregor and Holloway has been rumored for a while, but it has not yet been announced. If it does happen, it would be one of the most anticipated fights in UFC history.
