Conor McGregor reacts to a clip of Jiri Prochazka getting a wholesome welcome to his native Czech republic. Jiri Prochazka recently submitted the former light heavyweight champion Glover Teixeira via a rear naked choke to win the championship at UFC 275.
With this win, Jiri Prochazka became one of the few fighters who rose to the top within such a few fights inside the roster. Prochazka was fighting for the third time in the UFC against Glover. The 29 year old has certainly reached the top at the prime of his career. Before coming to the UFC, Jiri was a former RIZIN champion.
Moreover, Prochazka winning the belt is historic as he is the first ever champion who hails from the land of Czech republic. Apart for Jiri, fighters like David Dvořák, Lucie Pudilova, Viktor Pešta , and Karlos Vemola has fought in the roster. However, none of them were able to achieve what Jiri has done in mere three UFC fights.

Since Jiri Prochazka is the first ever UFC champion from Czech republic, the citizens of his hometown Brno flooded the city on his arrival with love and greetings.
Prochazka’s management company Paradigm sport posted a video on their Twitter handle. Fans were cheering for Jiri as Prochazka was flaunting his belt to the crowd. Here is the video:
A meet and greet event was organised for the new light heavyweight champion and Czech republic fight fans certainly didn’t want to miss this. The crowd was out with full force supporting and cheering for Jiri.
Soon after the video surfaced the internet, Conor McGregor reacted to it. His appreciation for Jiri’s welcome was quite unique as he took a dig at the kind of reception he received from his fellow countrymen after his title win.

As both the fighters are managed by Paradigm sports, Conor congratulated Jiri calling him a stablemate.
