Conor McGregor is no stranger to controversy. He has been involved in alleged misdemeanor cases ever since his boxing bout with Floyd Mayweather Jr. His recent comment on a professional boxer turned OnlyFans model’ post has garnered the attention of the combat sports community.
Ebanie Bridges is an Australian professional boxer with an account in OnlyFans, which charges 29.99 Dollars per month. She promoted McGregor’s latest business venture, “Forged Irish Stout,” on Instagram. Bridges’ Instagram is a sultry image with the caption, “Does This make you thirsty…… for a @forgedirishstout ?” McGregor commented on the picture, “Parched.” McGregor and Bridges have a friendly relationship. McGregor’s comment does not indicate flirting. The Irishman was promoting his brand of beer.
The 36-year-old Bridges is the current women’s IBF bantamweight champion. She won the title against María Cecilia Román on 26 March 2022. She defended it once against Shannon O’Connell on 10 December 2022. McGregor has not fought since his appearance at UFC 264 against Dustin Poirier. He lost the fight via doctor stoppage as he broke his leg.
Conor McGregor is presumed to return in late 2023 or early 2024. Michael Chandler is the presumed opponent, as Dana White has confirmed it. However, no official date for the bout has been announced yet. Interestingly, Poirier was Chandler’s last opponent as well. Chandler and Poirier fought at UFC 281, with Poirier winning by rear naked choke in round 3.
