Conor McGregor drops a major update on his much-anticipated fight with Michael Chandler. The McGregor vs. Chandler fight is something that has kept fans on their toes for a long time now. It all started when McGregor and Chandler went against each other as coaches in the recent season of The Ultimate Fighter.
Lately, fans have been predicting that the fight might not take place at all. However, McGregor has always been actively posting and teasing fans about the fight. Recently, McGregor took it to the next level by sharing the official countdown to the fight on his Twitter post.
The post had no caption, but in the picture, it was written that UFC 296 between McGregor and Chandler will take place on December 16th.
McGregor is still not inside the USADA testing pool, and this definitely raises questions about his availability for the events. Many fans are expecting that the UFC will give McGregor an exemption for the fight, but it would still be interesting to see an official announcement for the fight.
Michael Chandler looks motivated as the Conor McGregor fight comes back on the table
Michael Chandler has been consistently waiting for his dream fight with Conor McGregor for a year now. After being a part of TUF season 31, he was confident that he would fight McGregor this year.
However, many fans and MMA experts trolled the fighter, claiming that McGregor is never coming back. But after months of waiting, it seems like Chandler’s wish might come true. Recently, the fighter shared a tweet giving a motivational message to his fans and followers.
In the caption, he wrote: “A be sent plan executed today is better than a perfect plan executed a year from now. Many of us never start because we are waiting for the perfect time and the perfect circumstances, which usually never come. Throw yourself into the fire. Walk On. See you at the top!”
Chandler is one of the most entertaining fighters on the UFC roster and always gives some amazing fights and post-fight interviews. It would be interesting to see McGregor and Chandler trash-talking each other and giving fans an ultimate show.
