Conor McGregor is looking forward to his old nemesis, Nate Diaz’s boxing debut in August. He gave his prediction on the Jake Paul versus Nate Diaz’s boxing bout. The popular Youtuber will meet the former UFC superstar clash on August 5. Diaz and McGregor competed in two of the most successful PPVs of the UFC.
Conor McGregor said, “I think Nate slaps the head off him.” It appears McGregor believes in Diaz’s boxing ability and experience. He dismissed the skillset of Jake Paul. Paul and McGregor went back and forth on Twitter in the last two years. “Problem Child,” Paul mentioned, wanting to face McGregor in the boxing ring.
McGregor attended one of the most exciting boxing events of 2023 between Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia. Davis delivered a powerful body shot to Garcia in the seventh round to win the bout. Garcia did not get back to his feet after the body shots. Davis utilized body punches throughout their fight that paid dividends in the seventh round. McGregor met with Garcia after the bout to motivate him for future fights.
The Irish Superstar will not attend the Diaz vs Paul boxing bout. He said, “Jaysus, I’ll probably be in the Lamborghini off the coast of Sicily.” McGregor plans to enjoy the fight in his $4 million Lamborghini yacht. McGregor will return later this year once he sorts out his problems with USADA.
Conor McGregor motivated Ryan Garcia after first career loss
Gervonta Davis versus Ryan Garcia was one of the most talked about boxing events since the Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder trilogy. Heading into the fight, Davis and Garcia had an undefeated record. However, Davis landed a huge body shot in the seventh round that dropped Garcia. Garcia could not get back on his feet. The referee went on to call the fight in favor of Davis.
After the fight, McGregor met with Garcia and motivated him. He said, “He’s 1-0 on you. You are the two biggest names in the division. I want to see it again. I want to see it again now, and I want to see it with no rehydration clause. Mate, all the respect in the world to you. You’re the future. You’re the future of this game. I’m watching you all the way. Wish you all the best.“
McGregor is an experienced veteran of combat sports. He knows about winning and losing. McGregor imparted wisdom upon Garcia to bounce back from his first career loss. Only time will tell if Garcia can bounce back from the biggest defeat of his career.
