Conor McGregor was recently at Monaco to experience the iconic Formula 1 Monaco GP. Monaco just held its 2022 F1 Grand Prix on May 29 and it was a massive event. Among all the Grand Prix races, Monaco is considered unique due to its history and popularity.

This year with the new and revised F1 cars the anticipation around the GP was massive. F1 is a famous sport and like MMA, it is a very dangerous one. Athletes risk their lives every time they go up there to perform. The speed, risk involved, adrenaline attracts a lot of eyes to the sport. In every F1 GP event, many celebrities come and get special treatment from the organisation.

This time at Monaco GP, McGregor got aexclusive opportunity to visit the HAAS F1 Team garage. McGregor got to experience the F1 car up close and also interacted with the team members. HAAS even posted about the meeting on their official Instagram account.

McGregor recently shared some pictures of him while he was enjoying his time at the Monaco GP on his Twitter.

In the pictures, the ‘Notorious’ can be seen posing for the camera and having a blast on the race weekend. McGregor can be seen clicking pictures, cheering along with the crowds and also chilling on his private boat while watching the race.

McGregor is a global superstar and he is undoubtedly extremely popular in every part of the world. Everybody knows the crowd and branding the Irish bring along with him and this was a great chance for F1 to promote themselves even more. Collaborations such as this acts as a bridge between two sports and it automatically helps both to get more viewers. Even though it can be said, McGregor’s visit was personal, one cannot deny the overall impact of it.

Currently, McGregor is in focus as the fighter is all set to make his UFC comeback after a year since his leg injury. Although there are no official announcements of dates and opponents, it is going to take place in the later half of the year for sure. Fight fans are excited to see McGregor fight again inside the octagon.
