Holloway looked drained out and emotionally ruptured at the press conference. His former opponent and UFC superstar Conor McGregor tweeted words of support for Max Holloway and the people of Hawaii.
McGregor reacted to a video of Holloway breaking down while addressing the drastic situation in his hometown. He spoke about how the UFC loves Hawaii and how the state government failed the people of Maui. McGregor took to Twitter, where he said, “Respect, Max! Prayers up for the people of Maui!”. He has always respected Holloway and has always spoken highly of the “Blessed Express.”
