Conor McGregor has recently been mired in scandal. The former two-division UFC champion apparently missed the deadline to rejoin the USADA testing pool just a few days ago. Prior to that, he was also accused of allegedly raping a woman at the NBA finals. Nevertheless, in spite of all this, he appears to have focused his goodwill on the Titan, the missing submarine.
An Unfortunate event took place on Sunday morning, a 5-person crew aboard the submersible Titan dived to the Titanic wreckage site. About an hour and forty-five minutes later, the Polar Prince research ship’s crew lost touch with the submarine. The submarine, which belonged to OceanGate Expeditions, went down in the North Atlantic, roughly 900 miles east of Cape Cod.
A Canadian plane looking for the lost submarine in the Atlantic Ocean heard occasional “banging” sounds coming from close to where Titan was last seen. Emails submitted to Department of Homeland Security staff members revealed the shocking discovery.
“God, please,” Conor McGregor tweeted to show his support for the ongoing search operation. Unfortunately, this tweet of the fighter also gathered a lot of criticism with fans asking him to focus on his upcoming fight and getting into the USADA pool.
Billionaires and people of influence, passengers aboard the missing Titanic submarine
More than 24 hours have passed since the ‘The Polar Prince’ tourist submarine vanished in the North Atlantic on Sunday while making a dive to observe the Titanic debris.
The submarine had five passengers onboard which included OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush, Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood and his 19-year-old son Suleman, French adventurer Paul-Henry Nargeolet, British entrepreneur Hamish Harding, and others.
Privately-owned corporation OceanGate is behind the conducting of the deep water exploration mission to the Titanic shipwreck site called the Titanic Expedition. This expedition plan was relaunched for the third time this year after successful dives in 2021 and 2022.
The expedition reportedly costs $250,000 per person. The expedition’s members go on a larger ship on the water’s surface for around 370 miles (595 km). After this cruise, there is an eight-hour dive to investigate the Titanic shipwreck. No wonder why all the passengers inside the submarine are billionaires and CEOs.
