The MMA legend Conor McGregor shared his thoughts on the massive fight between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou. During an interview with TNT Sports, McGregor said that it was a great fight and exciting to watch it from the ringside. When asked about Ngannou’s knockdown over Fury, he said it was a lovely shot from Ngannou and gave props to Fury for his strong chin and will.
Further, Conor McGregor mentioned that Ngannou was a powerful fighter and Tyson couldn’t hurt him. He analyzed that Fury was missing with that backhand and couldn’t get to Ngannou. Then, he said that heavyweight boxing remains exciting due to the exciting moments. Later, he mentioned that Fury’s next fight with Oleksandr Usyk was a tough ask. He could’ve handed the undefeated Fury his first professional loss. However, he just fell short on the scorecards as he lost the fight via split decision. Nonetheless, the performance impressed Conor McGregor and all the fans worldwide.
“The Notorious” Conor McGregor fought Floyd Mayweather in the ring for a boxing match in 2017. The event became a massive success and catalyzed all the current MMA-Boxing crossover superfights. McGregor is now eyeing to return to the octagon in 2024.
Conor McGregor threatened to kick Manny Pacquiao in the head
The former UFC champion Conor McGregor threatened to kick the boxing legend Manny Pacquiao. McGregor posted a voice note on Twitter threatening Pacquiao. The Irishman said he would kick Pacquiao in the head, the neck, and the inside leg. Then, pick him by the ankle and drag him across the cage.
Conor McGregor’s beef with Manny Pacquiao dates back to 2021. It all started when Pacquiao signed with McGregor’s management team ‘Paradigm Sports.’ Later, the company sued Pacquiao for not abiding by his contract. Eventually, Paradigm Sports won the lawsuit. Pacquiao owed them 8 million dollars, which he hasn’t settled till now. Hence McGregor decided to target the boxing legend.
Both Conor McGregor and Manny Pacquiao attended the mega event of Fury vs. Ngannou at Riyadh. Since McGregor threatened Pacquiao before the event, many feared that they might get into a brawl. However, they’ve maintained peace by putting their beef aside. Conor McGregor even posted an image of him, Pacquiao, and some Saudi officials talking.
