Since their super fight in 2017, Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather haven’t quite sorted out their rivalry. Their fight was one of the biggest and most entertaining fights in boxing history. McGregor has a very active and colorful social media presence. He has called out Mayweather multiple times in the past over social media igniting hopes for a potential rematch.

He recently took to Twitter to explain his game plan for a potential rematch. McGregor said, “Don’t forget, I played ping pong with Floyd’s head. I carried him! In the rematch, I am going to use this style of attack but alongside a more destructive set of shots of the top also”. He truly believes that he can defeat Mayweather with this game plan.

McGregor also wrote, “Before it was just ping pong, this time it is ping pong with Babe Ruth and a baseball bat”. He hilariously referenced famous baseball player Babe Ruth who was a legend in his sport and his MLB career spanned out for 22 seasons. Ruth was known for hitting the ball with immense power.

A rematch between the two is highly anticipated by the fans as both are past their prime now. The matchup between Mayweather and McGregor will now be equal as both of them are not in the shape that they used to be. Fans will eagerly look forward to a potential rematch.

The rivalry between Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler started when they were announced as coaches for the new season of The Ultimate Fighter 31. McGregor picked his team of prospects whereas Chandler picked a team of veterans. The two fighters have had some heated moments during the show too.

McGregor was asked if he was still interested in fighting Chandler on Twitter. McGregor replied to that by saying, “I’ll do it if they want, no prob. There’s a lot of juicy fights around and my return date is my return date”. McGregor also believes that he can beat anyone, he has also offered to fly the people who want to fight him to his location.

His always “believing that he can beat anyone” attitude of McGregor is what has bought him to this stage. The confidence the “notorious one” has in his abilities and skills has always impressed the fans.
