Conor McGregor has been out of the sport for a year now. In his last fight at UFC 264 against Dustin Poirier. In the fight McGregor lost the bout as he injured his leg during the fight.

Since then, the ‘Mystic Mac’ has been recovering from his leg injury and it’s going pretty good. The fighter in his recent training clips is looking good and has also put on some mass. It’s hard to imagine McGregor fighting in the lightweight division ever again.

The Notorious is also getting a lot of call-outs from other fighters to come back and fight. Recently at UFC 274, both Charles Oliveira and Michael Chandler called out the fighter for a bout.

McGregor recently took his Twitter to share a new clip of him doing boxing on pads along with his coach.

In the clip, McGregor was looking very focused and was sharp with his shots. Later he retweeted that clip and in the captioned explained the significance of those shots. McGregor revealed that he calls them Bows and arrows and also referenced the legendary Bruce Lee.

McGregor has been a fan of Bruce Lee for a long time and has always given the actor credit for inspiring him. Once McGregor complimented Lee’s philosophy and said it’s very useful in his fighting style. “Bruce le said be like water, when a water enters a cup it becomes a cup. That’s the philosophy I’m going into.” said McGregor.

McGregor has also claimed that, Lee would have easily be the world champion if he would have fought in the UFC. He said : “I have no doubt he would have been a world champion in MMA. He’s fluid, he’s loose, he’s fast, he’s movement it’s efficient.” McGregor has been a fan of Lee all his life and his fighting style proves it. It will be interesting to see him make his UFC comeback.
