“Leaned his way into death” – Conor McGregor shows no mercy as he BRUTALLY trolls “Marty” Kamaru Usman for knockout loss at UFC 278

Conor McGregor and Kamaru Usman

Conor McGregor could not have been enjoying Leon Edwards becoming the champion more. It is safe to say McGregor’s celebrations also stem from his loathe for the Nigerian Nightmare, Kamaru Usman.

Kamaru Usman and Conor McGregor have never been the best of friends. The two have continuously spewed venom toward each other in the past few years. Conor and Kamaru have also challenged each other to fight in the past which never played out. Earlier today, the pound-for-pound king, Usman went to defend his welterweight title for the sixth time in his career against Paradigm Sports fighter, Leon at UFC 278.

The Nigerian Nightmare was a favorite to win this fight and Conor was fully invested and hoping that an upset took place at the Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah. To the Irishman’s delight, Leon pulled off a victory straight out of a movie script and ended the dominant reign of a champion that never looked like he was going to get beaten. McGregor has never been silent during huge pay-per-view fights and has always had his Twitter app open.

Tonight, Conor was on a different gravy as he shot nothing but insults towards Usman for his first-ever UFC loss in his career. And for Leon Edwards, it couldn’t have been more poetic. Avenging his loss against his former foe, winning the welterweight belt, and also adding a highlight reel knockout to his resume, Leon experienced one of the best nights of his life ever.
